The main issue would be with MP3 and video players inserted by the mediaplugins filter. These do also include the original text link so it's probably not a problem.

I've made significant changes to how Flash-based filters work, so that they now show messages to those without Javascript, and yet still validate nicely, thanks to this script:

Screenreaders get information about what they missed, along with a link to it.
