Description

I just tried to use a Flash movie in the image to display in a quiz and found to my chagrin it won't show.

You can already include flash in quzi questions. See: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Flash

Yes, but the code you pointed to is fine for people who are familiar with html and plugin etc.

Moodle needs to be made easier for end users like Aunt Tilly and the 34M teachers who don't know the diff between swf and html.

Moodle _needs to be easier to use_, putting wrappers around an swf is just as easy putting the wrapper around a .jpg

I'm constantly hearing from potential users at my school that they've looked at Moodle but it's too hard and not intuitive enough.

The issue is with the HTML editor, and making it really intuitive for people to embed rich media everywhere. This is not something we should be doing just in the quiz.
