Course creators are automatically added to new courses in the sense that they show up in the participants list. However when the course creator wants to enter the course he still gets the message "You are about to enrol yourself as a member of this course. Are you sure you wish to do this?"

To reproduce:

Go to a category and add a user to the course creator role. The user then shows up in the participants lists of all courses in that category. The log in as that course creator and try to enter one of the courses. The user is asked whether he wants to enrol.

Proposed resolution:

I think it would be best not to automatically add course creators to the participants list of courses. What was the rationale behind adding them?
