Description
Auth plugins need unit tests, the problem is that in order to test them we need all external services running and configured. The solution might be to create a Virtual Machine image with all services setup (LDAP, POP3, mnet) and run it from this instance.
The VM solution should support snapshots to allow easy reverting to original state.
