Description
When a quiz contains more than one Essay type question, The HTML editor for the Essay type questions only appears in the first question. Following Essay type questions just have a simple text box - see attached jpg.
If the Essay type questions are set to appear one per page, then the HTML editor appears as expected.
Certainly, not a serious problem, but wonderful if it could be fixed ![]()

| MDL-6649 | HTML Editor in essay question unreliable |
|
|
|
Please do not open this can of worms again! See
MDL-6649for the previous arguments about this. The current situation is a compromise. If you really think this should be changed. Start a debat in the forums. If you can get a large majority agreeing with you, and get experimental evidence that doing this does not cause reliability issues, then you can reopen this bug and I will make the change.
Note that the other bug does contain instructions for modifying your Moodle to use HTML editors everywhere, it is an easy change.
Or you could just split your quiz into multiple pages.
