Description

Situation:

Files are upload as zip and unpacked.
Some of the files have file names with Umlaute ÜÖÄ and spaces.
This files care unmovable and not deletable.

The problem of file names not being escaped properly was reported in MDL-2307. The problem of unescaped names in unzipped file names still exists in Moodle 1.8.4+, and I have the same issue with being unable to delete files that include these characters.

As added to MDL-2307 - This also still exists in Moodle 1.9 - it would be great if this can be fixed as the files are basically useless.
