Robert,
I can't reproduce your problem. "Issue type" is available when I create a filter (logged on with rights similar to yours). Are you sure you're logged in? Can you edit an existing filter and see this field?

Detail the steps you're taking and screen shot if you can't get this resolved.

Ah, sorry, I just checked this more thoroughly. It seems that the problem is showing only in Netscape7. In other browsers I tried, I see the list properly. The problem is present (or not) regardless whether I am logged in or not. I just click the "Find Issues" link on the bar on top.

Is the problem resolved by later versions of Netscape? I've had a look at the support page for Tracker; similar, but not identical problems were reported in 7.x, but have now been resolved.

Netscape 7.0.2 is the latest available for OS9.

It is strange that this is the only list among the lists in the search that has this problem. I mean the problem is specific to Netscape but it is something that other lists avoid, so it should be fixable.

The folks at Jira don't seem overly ambitious when it comes to Netscape issues, in fact they openly admit to not testing their apps against this browser. I wouldn't expect a fix any time soon. Possible to use an alternative (firefox, safari) when using Tracker?

Neither Safari nor Firefox are available for OS9. But I may have to get another computer with OS X to replace this one anyway since Moodle itself is malfunctioning with Netscape and that is getting worse with each new release.

In terms of searching, lack of that specific ist is not that critical. I can use another computer when I need it badly enough.

I just spent a few minutes looking at the source code of that web page and I think I have spotted the problem: this list is the one that has a javascript block WITHIN the <tr> block with the list itself. There are <script> objects sprinkled through the page but none are within the <tr> blocks with any of the other lists.

A proof: if I edit the source and move the <script> (actually two of them) outside the <tr> block, save locally and open in Netscape, the list shows fine. So, may be this info will let Jira guys to fix it without much ado.

Robert, I'd like to close this bug because it don't think it will ever be fixed. OK?
