Description
As report on http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=62435 :
(1) My Moodle site (http://NETCoachAsia.com) kept disappearing from the listing, despite repeated registrations using the Notification function in Moodle.
(2) A number of the sites listed there are linking to dead sites.
e.g. ADLER Virtual Learning Environment - the first Arbitration and Dispute Resolution learning portal (Server not found), Childbirth International Student and Member Site and Childbirth International Student and Members Pages (404 Not Found), Elitebizsphere (Page Not Found), Si Ling Secondary School first link (connection has timed out),
(3) One site is even linking to an advertising and non-Moodle site. ETD VLE (pretending to offer Math lessons, but all linking to pages of sponsored links)
The sites mentioned in (2) and (3) were later deleted by Helen Foster. Problem (1) is still there.
NETCoachASia.com is a brand new site, updated daily (almost hourly) so far. There are more than 10 courses, over 20 users, over 80 resources, etc. The site had been installed on PHP 5.0.x using Fantastico. It was migrated to PHP 5.1.x a few days ago.

Hi Martin (I notice this seems to be assigned to you?)
It appears that there are quite a few sites listed that are dead links, or non-operational, or just 'demos' (which should not actually be listed).
It's possibly quite a disappointment when visitors click to see other organisations great Moodle sites, to find they are not really there, and only demo's etc.
If you would like someone to manually go through the list I have some time I can assign to one of our people.
We can just go country by country.
Please let me know
Stuart
