This is ready, by using the:

$wgReadOnly = "We are upgrading MoodleDocs, please be patient. This wiki will be back in a few hours.";

variable when one wiki is being upgrade. I've the new LocalSettings.php conf script ready to use that (by simply commenting/uncommenting the corresponding line).

Resolving this as fixed. Ciao
