Description

A Moodle.org-styled database activity is required, similar to the modules and plugins database http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?id=6009 and the themes database http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?id=6552.

The first database preset entry in the database presets database can be database presets database preset (just like the Database module is the first entry in the modules and plugins database)

A nudge to say that a preset database would be easier than figuring the database function from scratch.
How about a hotlink from the administration block to both the external preset database, and to internally stored presets.
(Logically site admin/developers would want to work on presets without necessarily attaching them to a course immediately.)
