votes lost during upgrade?

Description

Is it my imagination or were all existing votes for issues lost in the move to the new bugtracker?

You're correct. Votes were not ported from the old bug tracker. The major obstacle stemmed from the fact that usernames in the old and new systems were not identical, therefore votes could not be easily applied to the new db.

I got the feeling that the voting feature wasn't used all that much in the old system. There wasn't a facility to compare or count votes against selected bugs, apart from viewing bugs 1 by 1. How important are old votes to you? I'm sure you know you view the old system (but not update).

I'm not sure the benefit is worth the effort of moving votes...

Haven't had any additional requests for votes to be ported from old bug tracker. As stated previously, the effort on this probably is not worth the gain.
