Description

What kinds of quantifiable measures can I find that the interaction in forums to MoodleDocs? In some respect this is all about me. However, I am curious if a moodle.org forum can produce some quantifiable measures, not only in the context of moodle.org and perhaps MoodleDocs, but for other older non-synchronous sites.

In short, I thought I would see what my limited skills might apply itself by playing with simple numbers. I am sure this could be a PhD project in itself which might require MySQL queries/dumps. When I play with numbers, I like to keep it simple with stuff on the surface (yeah data entry into a spreadsheet from screen observations).

I will save my usual rambling for a user page in MoodleDocs. If and when I come up with anything, I will post it here and call attention to it in the Moodle.org Forum.

Best Chris

Helen, This is one of those seems like it has some merit ideas but since it is mine, assign it to me or perhaps better yet "resolved and put won't fix on it"

Essentially I was asking what is the quantifiable impact of docs.moodle on questions asked in forums, by looking at data rather than creating a questionnaire. Are there less of the same questions, more links to doc.moodle being used to shorten posts (except Chris's of course), and perhaps other measures my brain can not think about. Just idle thoughts, let us call this one resolved.
