I attach some captured screens to explain the bug.
I think could be an index (filter) problem in database activity.....

 All   Comments   Change History      Sort Order: Ascending order - Click to sort in descending order

The bug is quite pesky given the current size of the database (it should be Major priority IMHO), and quite easy to correct, so I hope it can be corrected before new database module will be created.

The reason for such discrepancy seems to be "Add comment" link which didn't respects filtering. The link (and maybe the page too) should be corrected to behave just as view screen, that's all.

Carina, thanks for your report, and Oleg, thanks for your comment.

I was under the impression that this bug had been fixed (see MDL-18024) but I've just checked and, although moodle.org is using 1.9.4+ build 20090403, the problem remains.

Reassigning to Dongsheng for investigation.

Confirmed, it was fixed some weeks ago, just to be reverted some days later by mistake.

I've reapplied it and updated moodle.org, so everything should be working again.
