There seems to be a problem with exceeding some sort of limit? The posts from http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=56488&parent=259010 and following do not show up if you use nested view or threaded view. They do show up if you use flat, newest first. They do show up if you arrive there from the "recent activity" link.
Since I replied to a post that was in the group that seems to be somewhat isolated, I tried to put a link in. The link was accepted in the dialog box, but I also got this error:
Error: Invalid context creation request for level "50", instance "0".
I am sorry I cannot describe this more accurately, but maybe you will see if if you visit the link.

Thanks for your report. I noticed the same, and wondered whether perhaps the problem had been caused by someone deleting their post when it had already been replied to by Bryan.
Anyway, in order to ensure that the sub-thread wasn't lost, I split the original thread and created a new thread from the sub-thread: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=56876
I'm going to mark this report as resolved. Please let me know whether you think it should be closed.
