I haven't had a chance to check out the most recent 1.9.x code to see whether this is a bug or a feature, but I have been noticing since yesterday that the RSS feeds from the Moodle.org forums suddenly don't show the author's name anymore.
Is this intentional (security/privacy issues, an experiment in democratic governance ;-) ) or is it a bug?
It really does make reading the posts harder...

Hans

Hans, thanks for your report. Reassigning to Martin who hopefully knows something about the change.

I just noticed this, too... although other 1.9 sites (and the codebase for RSS feeds) seem unchanged. This does makes it difficult / impossible to follow Moodle forums in a blog reader.

Hmm, I did make a hack on moodle.org to remove them from 1-user blog feeds only (or so I thought). Perhaps it affected the forum feeds too.

Yep, my bad, sorry. Fixed!

(note that some feeds may take a while to update)
