I'm happy to sort out spam problems on moodle.org because we don't get that much. Please don't feel you're pestering me, because you're not!
In general, I don't think it's a problem if there's a delay of a few hours before spam is deleted if I'm not online when the spam is reported. In cases of spammers going crazy, e.g. messaging lots of people, there's always the option of mentioning the problem in our dev chat so that another moodle.org admin can deal with it if I'm not online.

includes an FAQ explaining how to report spam, though I'm just wondering whether something should be added to http://moodle.org/contact/
too. What do you think?
