To start warming up to the ideas Moodle 2.0 by building up our own demo community hub, as well as to produce a really excellent Moodle demo site with lots of examples, I think we should have a course competition of sorts. Perhaps there's a better name like Jamboree or something. :)
I was thinking something like:
- several prizes, probably cash to make it most useful, for the best courses in different categories (best application of Moodle tools, best looking, etc)
- asking the PHMs to help us narrow down entries to a set of finalists somehow
- asking the whole community to vote (via open Choice activity of course) to pick the winners
- put all the winners and perhaps the finalists on demo.moodle.org
What do you think?
