As long as we are using more and more META tasks to group issues... perhaps it would be nice to split current "sub-task" (unique) type into some more "sub-tasks" types, like for example:

• generic (current one)
• documentation subtask
• research subtask
• discussion subtask
• fix subtask
• improvement subtask
• new feature subtask

(with nice icons for each one). That way, the "sub-tasks" will be really more informative and useful, IMO. This can be achieved directly from GUI afaik.
