We have outcomes defined on our sites and it makes a lot of sense to use these as targets. Could you provide an easy way to set the course outcomes as targets? I'm thinking either as an admin option in the Target module settings, or as a button in the course target-view page - 'Add course outcomes as targets'.

Teacher would still need to set dates, status, etc., but would save quite a bit of cutting and pasting if needing to use predefined outcomes.
