Currently, we ship a full version of the jsmath library, which allows to include mathematical formulas within the slides. That library is already included in the jsmath moodle filter.
It's been suggested that we might take the library away, and write installation instructions for a more recent version of the library, which makes sense. We could also make use of any available moodle filter. This way teachers will edit the content of the slides using exactly the same syntax and getting the same output as they are used to do.
However, the jsmath filter is a bit difficult to install, so we could offer our users the possibility to install videotutor with jsmath integrated.
