Affects Version/s: 1.9.7
Fix Version/s: None
Component/s: Gradebook Patches/Plugins/Upgrades
Environment:Windows 7, Moodle using Matt Bury's SWT Activity Module
Testing with a dummy student to test the SWF Activity Module's feed into Grade Book at very basic level.
It feeds grades through OK.
The problem is when the 'submit' button is set to navigate to the Grade Book when it feeds the data through (i.e, 'submit' takes the student direct to their Grades) I get this added to the feedback:
"NOTICE: Wiki-like formatting has been removed from Moodle. You should not be seeing this message as all texts should have been converted to Markdown format instead. Please post a bug report to http://moodle.org/bugs with information about where you saw this message."
(http://moodle.org/bugs doesn't exist, which is why I'm reporting here).
If the 'submit' button just feeds the data through, i.e. without leaving the activity, forcing the student to exit by using the breadcrumbs (not ideal) then navigate to their Grades, I do NOT get this error notice. Of course, it may be an 'intermittent' bug.
You will need to have installed the SWF Acivity Module - http://code.google.com/p/swf-activity-module/ (Developer is: firstname.lastname@example.org)
Use Add an activty/SWF to upload the swf contained inthe zip folder( which contains the .as files as wel in case useful).
Login as your dummy student to test the activity - type in a 2 digit number and select 'submit'
This should take you to the dummy student's grade book
Expected: 1 line feedback such as 'Well done You passed'
Happens: Get the above error notice in addition to feedback. See attached screen shot
