Uploadpdf - need to select 'compare to' twice before it works

      Open up an uploadpdf assignment
      Click next
      Click 'Compare to' and select another assignment
      Page reloads, but does not open the side frame.
      Select 'Compare to' a second time and the page reloads, correctly opening the side frame.
