We use the checklist module for student assignments on a per-class basis, so we have one homework checklist instance per class. Therefore, this is a feature request to have the ability to set a deadline for the entire list.

Basically, we would like it to work like with assignments, for example the online text assignment:
a due date that shows up in the student calendar, and an accompanying "Prevent late submissions" field that defaults to "No."

For every class, our students may have up to a dozen different tasks outlined in the checklist, so it would be more efficient for both teachers and students to have one deadline for each homework checklist rather than having to set the same day as the deadline for all the individual tasks in it.
