David - It looks like you are installing the 1.9 version in a 2.0 setup. I would recommend contacting the Martin Holden (http://moodle.org/user/view.php?id=36461&course=1) and see what his plans are for a 2.0 version. If you want, create a sub-task on CONTRIB-1988 to upgrade the code to 2.0. Peace - Anthony

Any update yet? This is a MUST work in order for us to implement Moodle.

Guess this is not going to be fixed so we will look to other applications that do actively support skillsoft.

David - I never did hear back from Martin Holden. Have you considered contacting a Moodle Partner to see if they might be willing to upgrade the code? Feel free to post in the Contributed modules and plugins forum (http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=44) requesting for someone to step in and take on upgrading the activity module. I am happy to help someone out if they want to become the primary maintainer of the code. It looks like Martin has not been active in Moodle for over a year. Let me know how I can be helpful. Unfortunately I do not have time to take on projects, I simply try to help keep things moving so that the community can take care of the plugins that seem to be of most interest to folks. Peace - Anthony

p.s. - You may also want to try and see if skillsoft themselves might have a developer willing to take over maintaining the code. It could be that Martin left and the new person simply does not know about the code or how to interact with the Moodle community.

The code has been revved for 1.9 and 2.0:

          1.9.x http://code.google.com/p/moodle-skillsoft-activity/
          2.x http://code.google.com/p/moodle2-skillsoft-activity/

Make sure to read the readme.txt. To move from 1.9 to 2.0 you need to upgrade 1.9 to latest build and ensure "changes" get applied.

I'm going to resolve this issue as fixed. Martin has ported the code to Moodle 2.x and it is available in the Modules and Plugins database entry which I have just re-approved. If there are other issues please file a new issue. Peace - Anthony
