An education site I work with is allocating Mentors to each student in order to support their progress. I'm using the Checklist Module to monitor this progress, and currently the only way I can allow mentors to see all of their students' progress at a glance is to simply show them the full list, through which they have to search to find their own students.

Could functionality be added to the checklist module to tie in with the mentor/parent role in Moodle 2 so the mentors see only their own allocated students in the checklist block? Or, is there any other way of setting which students in particular that mentor should be able to see?
