First let me compliment you on all your amazing work for Moodle.
I have a request regarding your Checklist module
When using the standard activity completion settings to determine the status of a checklist item, Moodle allows you to choose 'When activity has been graded'. When a student receives a non-passing grade for this activity (which can be set in the gradebook) Moodle still considers this activity to be completed en therefore the Checklist (logically) sets the status to complete. Personally I think this is an issue with Moodle but somehow I think it could be easier to propose a fix here
My proposal for improvement would be to be able to use this 'passing grade' in the gradebook in the determination of checklist-itenm completion.
Assignment 1 is part of the checklist and the passing grade is set to 75%
Sam Student receives a grade of 60% for his first attempt. In this case the Checklist should not consider this to be complete. In the current situation it does.
Sam Student submits a second version and receives a 80% grade. Since he now receives a grade higher than the 'passing grade' settings, the checklist considers the activity to be complete and checks it of the list.
When no 'passing grade' has been set, the checklist should follow the current rules regarding activity completion.
I hope you can find the time to have a look at this proposal and should you need more information, don't hesitate to contact me.
