Our registrar is marking users as "non-payment" in Banner thus removing their spot in the course. Moodle normally reflects this change and removes them automatically from the course roster. However, recently (as of the latest 2.5 upgrade), we are seeing those users remain in the course but their row in Enrolled Users is greyed out.

Many of these users no longer belong in the course so they are still lingering. Any ideas as to why they aren't being pulled out automatically?
