Is there a means to import courses based on an existing course template (not plugin course default or Moodle default course parameters) using the bannerlmb plugin?

For example, we would like to have a manual Final Grade column in all courses grade books created on bannerlmb .xml import. It seems the simplest way to do this is to create a "template" course to be used on import/course creation.

Possible? Alternative ideas?
