Module Game - installation failed, unable to load moodle settings

after installing plugin Activities: Game | mod_game | Release 2020-08-19

-using moodle plugin website installer

-server running Moodle v3.10.1

-plugin failed to install and Moodle web server administration page now shows error

"Exception - Class 'core_search\area\base_activity' not found"

Attempted to remove plugin with moodle php uninstall_plugins.php - show missing returns no results.

looking for assistance please
