Today there is few projects that help maintain Moodle and Moodle plugin CI manuly and automaticly, most of them are build for travis ci and jenkins.

Gitlab is an OSS that make a big improvment in the area of project lifecycle including CI/CD and application monitor and support and as a growing community.

I think it will help to add also gitlab ci examples in the CI's projects.
