Overview
Building a course from scratch can be a daunting exercise, especially for people who aren't instructional designers or teachers. Potentially having some pre-defined course templates could improve the usability of Moodle for new users. The need for additionally functionality around identifying and managing templates will also need to be understood. Some of the research for this will overlap with IDEA-6 (Content Management across Moodle) and we will be able to leverage the outcomes of that work here.
Objectives
- User needs and pain points during course creation
- Differences in course template requirements for different market segments
