Overview
It has been identified that Assignments has large volume of YUI code which needs to be removed as part of the work for IDEA-144. Rather than just rebuild the existing Assignment pages as is this presented an opportunity to reassess the activity, the Instructor and Student experiences. A technical assessment will be undertaken along side a UI/UX review to determine what should be areas of focus and where the effort should be focused.
Objectives
- Technically assess the assignment module for which areas there YUI that needs to be removed
- Survey the existing backlog and forums to identify themes of improvement suggestions and requests
- Identify areas of improvements to tackle immediately and larger improvements which can be done over time
- implement research outcomes.
