      Description

Using a heavily customised chameleon theme, adding new tab backgrounds to theme/mytheme/pix/tab/ does not make any difference and only by adding them to standard/pix/tab/ makes them appear on screen

I changed this issue to "Feature" because it is no real bug.

The CSS describing the tabs has changed due to the new tableless tabs in Moodle 1.8.

In 1.7 the CSS was split into styles_layout.css and styles_color.css and styles_fonts.css. In 1.8 all CSS properties are defined in styles_layout.css.

Before 1.8 Chameleon used it's own tab CSS. From 1.8 on it uses the standard tabs. Therefore the local tabs are not used any more. I will delete the tabs folder in Chameleon and remove the tab related properties.

To use your own tabs you need to copy the CSS properties defining the tab images from the standard theme over into your user_styles.css. Then Chameleon will use your replaced images.

Chameleon use it's own tabs without graphics again.
