Resource name required before IMS repository can be browsed, and name field no longer filled in automatically

Have just upgraded from 1.7.2 to 1.8.2

IMS Repository was re-established fine. However new validation on the resource name field means that it has to be filled in before browsing commences. Requiring a resource name is fine when linking to a file or website etc - but this requires my teaching staff to be psychic and know the name of the ims resource before they have browsed, found and chosen it.

Also in 1.7.2 the name field would be filled in when the package was chosen - this has been lost.

I am swapping from using the object activity to the ims repository because the object activity doesn't backup or copy. But this loss of functionality makes the repository much less user-friendly and seems a backward step.
