    Description

The help text with the description of the Markdown syntax is quite incomplete. This concerns these pages:

      http://moodle.org/help.php?file=markdown.html
      http://moodle.org/help.php?file=advanced_markdown.html

Features such as tables, definition lists or footnotes are not described at all.
      Also, the link

      http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/ (1)

is not helpful and outdated. In fact, Moodle uses "PHP Markdown Extra"
(see markdown.php), and its syntax is fully documented here:

      http://www.michelf.com/projects/php-markdown/extra/ (2)

Therefore, the link (1) should be replaced by (2). Also, the software (file markdown.php)
is not the latest version in Moodle 1.71. It should be updated.
