Forum does not handle groups correctly

When I set up a forum for visible groups, the following two issues appear:

(1) Students in one group receive email notifications from all groups, including groups they are not a member of.
(2) The teacher cannot reply to any group discussion: a [[nopostdiscussion]] error occurs.
