      Description

      I can draw e.g. a linear function y=

      {a}*x+{b} in moodle.
      The correct formula of the solution is (y=) {a}

      *x+

      {b}

      The student is asked to enter the term of the linear function e.g. 2*x+1.
      The external programm e.g. a computer algebra system
      should return true or false.
      Don't know if this is a improvement or a new feature, but it's on top of my wishlist.

          Actually you can do this but without the graph i.e. you can put x1,y1 x2,y2 and ask for the slope or the origin.
          In the near future you will be able to aks the two parameters in the same question.
          I have no plan in the near future to "draw" functions on moodle in the calculated question.

          The other thing to know about in this direction is STACK.

          A standard question in my math class is:
          "Look at the following graph:
          [Graph]
          What is the equation of the correspondent function?"
          I have a applet that draws the function in a calculated question - that's not the problem.
          I need to verify the answer of my students.
          Stack would be a solution - if it is integrated in moodle and if the project is still alive.
          But i think my proposal is quite general and it would'nt be necessary to run a second server.
          Just my 2cents.
