Gradebook calculations are broken

Not sure what this is caused by as I've not managed to get any calculations working at all.

I am trying to make my course total into the average of two category totals and I get 'Error' in every cell, even though the two values it uses are present.

This is my formula for the course total: =average([[progresstotal]], [[timedtotal]])

The id numbers are set up as per the screenshot
