      Description

In 1.9b4 when importing a csv into the grade book, import fails if any of the identifying fields are incorrect.

The correct behavior should be to import all correct users' grades and show an error page listing the users not imported.

I would personally call it a new feature, not a bug.
But I agree the import plugin can be definitely improved.

        Petr,

I would tend to agree, but we need this implemented before April. We don't mind doing it, but I wanted to see if anyone was planning on implementing the fix/feature and the timeframe.

BTW, the new gradebook is awesome, but a PITA to figure out.

the UI needs more work, sure - fortunately you can "fork" the import current plugin and make your own now

This way was done deliberately (we didn't want to allow half-successful imports). You have a chance to go back and fix the import and try again without any messing up of your data in Moodle.

We should be printing errors though so you know what went wrong. Do we do that Petr?
