      Description

      When navigating to a file type resource that is linked to a file from the Moodle course files and the resource is set to open in a new window, then the new window does not popup. This works fine in FireFox however.

      If you turn on the setting "Display a notification for every script error" setting found in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, you will see the attached error.

      The line of code causing the error:

      openpopup('/mod/resource/view.php?inpopup=true&id=4209','resource3153','resizable=1,scrollbars=1,directories=,location=,menubar=,toolbar=,status=,width=750,height=550');

      I tried to add this line to the window.onload to see if it should be executed after the window finishes loading and that worked except once the window opened, IE makes a weird noise and closes the window without downloading the file. Very weird.
