      Description

When viewing user/editadvanced_form.php function definition_after_data() gets called twice when the page is rendered, each time the variable $mform->getElementValue('id') returns a different value. For example if you are generating a new user the first call will have $mform->getElementValue('id') will be unset, the second time it is set correctly to -1.

If the user is trying to edit their own details the values are unset and then the users correct id.
