Admins can't edit the profile of a user that doesn't have a specified role.

      Description

      The default role for a user on our site is Authenticated user. Admins can go to the profile but the edit tab doesn't show.

            Unfortunately you can "break" admin role by overrides in other roles such as the Authenticated user role. YOu should try to reset the roles to default permissions.

            This was finally fixed in 2.0 - there is no way to change the admin rights any more.
