When exporting questions as Moodle XML Format, where required use CDATA sections rather than htmlspecialchars(). Things like Cloze question blocks are unreadable when put through htmlspecialchars() - also it sometimes seems to break xmlize. No action is required for import as this already handles CDATA correctly.
