At the last Online Developers Meeting, yesterday Jan 09, Martin said i should put this into the tracker. I've been trying to make a specification (in the URL below).
In Brief the idea is to make it easy to invite feedback from the users about the content and function of Moodle material at a very elemental level. To differentiate it from the other Feedback module it needs another name. I am suggesting DevFeedback since the goal is to have have a channel that can collect user input for developing both the content and platform.
The 2 major uses I see are:
1) connected to each interactive question. Properly constructed it could be used to use the students reactions to give more choices, better feedback, better grading.
2) connected to each page. The main purpose is to collect detailed improvement suggestions.
These feedback link/forms could be turned on at different levels and be addressed to various roles: teachers, administrators, developers.
I'm hoping to mock up some situations, GUI form appearances for feedback inviters/givers during the coming month, but I'll be doing that in connection to the docs URL below.
I don't know what "version" to put on this: 2.0 or ASAP (not 2020 )
