With NCLB and so many standards floating around and being tracked, it would be a game changer at my school district if the questions in Moodle could be tagged according to different standards and then tracked in the quiz grade and gradebook.
For example, a student might take a quiz that involves 2 different standards (read a line graph; read a bar graph). The questions will be randomly ordered, but after submitting her answers she and the teacher would be able to see he score broken down according to the two standards. Is she getting all the bar graphs right but getting all the line graphs wrong? Even for teachers in a non-standard based environment, this would still be a great tool to identify weaknesses.
On a grand scale, it would be amazing if it could actually track across multiple quizzes. So after taking the 10 quizzes of the quarter, the reporting module would be able to say overall scores in different standards as well.
Finally, being able to see class trends overall would be the nail in the coffin. What percentage of students are getting the line graph questions wrong?
It think this has a lot of potential
