      Description

      It appears that lib/yui/base/base-min.css says

      input[type="text"], input[type="password"], textarea {
          width:12.25em;
      }

      On the other hand, most of the input type="text" elements in most of the forms have a size="something" attribute, so that the input element is an appropriate size for the content we expect.

      So, that bit of base-min.css is a usability problem. For example http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=147154
