It would be very useful to be able to tie course availability (or visibility) with the completion of a prerequisite course. Here's a potential example:
Students are enrolled into multiple courses. You don't want students to begin any work until they're completed a prior 'Online Orientation' course. With a feature like this, the student's courses could be 'hidden' or 'unavailable' (to them) until they meet the completion criteria of the 'Online Orientation' course, after which their other courses would become accessible.
