On a 2.0 site, an mnet user from a 1.9 site will have the wrong lang string eg "en_utf8".

      Description

      This should be fixed in mnet (the lang string name should be converted properly).

      But just to catch any other times that old lang strings get through the net (incl direct poking in the database), I'm going to add this to current_language()

      $return = str_replace('_utf8', '', $return);
