multichoice questions need more options regarding score calculation.
for example, there is a type of multichoice questions where more than 1 answer is correct, yet you should be able to get rewarded in score for not choosing the wrong answers. this type of questions cannot be represented with the current multichoice options.
an example follows :
1. question body
A. answer one(right answer)
B. answer two(right answer)
C. answer three(right answer)
D. answer four(wrong answer)
E. answer five(wrong answer)
what I want is :
if the student checks A, B & C he should get the full 5/5 mark.
if the student checks A, B, C & D he should only get 4/5 for choosing one wrong answer
if the student checks A & B he should get 4/5 for missing on one right answer
if the student checks none, he should get 2/5 for correctly recognizing that two answers are actually wrong
this also allows for the possibilty for questions with all answers wrong, which is currently not possible.
another point; there should be an answer specific feedback that displays regardless of whether the answer is checked or not; for example to explain to the student why he was right not choosing that specific answer, which could be very informative.
another suggested cosmetic improvement is for matching questions; a drag and drop interface for matching questions would be very nice.
