When a teacher is looking into a students work, it's common to want to know how the student is doing, whether it be for academic probation or to write a recommendation. As such it makes sense that the teacher would look at the student profile (I have them do fairly extensive profiles) and with a click be able to go to that student's gradebook. As it stands now, you'd have to go to the gradebook, then pick the user view, then select the user (including TWO drop-downs, which are hard on the hands and hand muscles, and for older teachers). Instead, a simple teacher-only link from the profile (i.e. next to their name) which takes you to that user's gradebook would be very helpful. Should be cake to deploy as well, as the URL would be something like: grade/report/user/index.php?id=4077&userid=6666 linked from: /user/view.php?id=6666&course=4077 so the data's right there (with the conditional for if teacher - same used to display phone number)
